Everything you need to know about our IV therapy services
Our licensed nurse will arrive at your location with all necessary supplies. After a brief health consultation, they'll insert a small IV catheter (usually in your arm). The drip takes 30-60 minutes depending on the formula. Most clients relax, work on their laptop, or watch TV during the session. You'll feel minimal discomfort during insertion, and many report feeling energized immediately after.
Most IV drips take 30-60 minutes to infuse. NAD+ therapy takes longer (2-4 hours). The entire visit including setup and health consultation typically takes 45-90 minutes. We recommend having a comfortable space where you can relax during your treatment.
Yes, when administered by licensed medical professionals. All our nurses are experienced in IV therapy and follow strict sterile protocols. We use pharmaceutical-grade vitamins and minerals. We conduct a health screening before each session to ensure IV therapy is appropriate for you. Rare side effects may include mild bruising at the insertion site or temporary lightheadedness.
We can provide certain IV drips to pregnant clients who are 20 weeks or further along, with physician approval. Some ingredients are not recommended during pregnancy. Please inform us if you're pregnant or planning to become pregnant so we can customize your treatment safely.
If your drip includes Benadryl (diphenhydramine), you MUST have someone available to drive you home or to your next destination. Benadryl can cause drowsiness and impair your ability to drive safely. Plan accordingly and arrange transportation in advance.
This depends on your wellness goals and the type of drip. Many clients benefit from weekly treatments initially, then maintain with monthly sessions. Our nurses will recommend a protocol based on your specific needs. Hydration drips can be done more frequently if needed, while NAD+ therapy may require a more spaced-out schedule.
Most IV therapy services are considered elective wellness treatments and aren't covered by insurance. However, we accept HSA and FSA cards. We can provide a detailed receipt (superbill) that you can submit to your insurance for possible reimbursement, though coverage is rare.
We accept all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover), as well as HSA and FSA cards. Payment is due at the time of service. Package purchases can be made in advance.
We provide mobile IV therapy throughout the greater Los Angeles area, including Beverly Hills, Santa Monica, West Hollywood, Malibu, Manhattan Beach, Pasadena, and surrounding communities. If you don't see your city listed, contact us to check availability - we may still be able to accommodate you.
We recommend being well-hydrated before your appointment (drink plenty of water). Eat a light meal 1-2 hours before your session. Wear comfortable clothing with sleeves that can easily roll up. Have a comfortable space ready where you can sit or recline for 30-60 minutes.
Absolutely! While we have signature formulas designed for specific wellness goals, we can customize your drip with add-ons and boosters. Our nurse will discuss your health concerns and goals to recommend the best combination for you.
IV therapy delivers nutrients directly into your bloodstream, bypassing the digestive system for 100% absorption. Oral supplements must go through digestion, where absorption rates can be as low as 20-30%. IV therapy provides immediate benefits and higher bioavailability of vitamins and minerals.
